Join us for Social Innovation Camp, 5th-7th December

November 26th, 2008

Preparations are well under way for next weekend’s Social Innovation Camp, 5th-7th December 2008.

The ideas we’re hoping to develop have now been chosen, and now we’re looking for people to help out.

We’re after talented people to provide technical and creative input to the weekend to help build these seven early-stage ideas.

We’ve not got a huge amount of space and we need a balance of skills and expertise to make this work, as well as making sure some new faces who didn’t get to come last time are able to get involved, so please don’t be disappointed if we can’t fit you in this time around – we’re filling up quickly. You can sign up to come here.

At the moment, we’re especially looking for:

  • front-end designers
  • user experience/user interface designers
  • people with CSS/html skills
  • super-creative types who like building interesting and imaginative branding and marketing campaigns

And we’re still looking for some extra people with software development skills for Useful Visitors, Good Gym and Carbon Co-op.

So if you fancy a weekend of free food and drink, great company and creativity, and you think you can help, let us know what you’re interested in and what your skills are by signing up here.

And if you can’t make the whole weekend but you’d still like to find out more, sign up for the closing session, 2-4pm, Sunday 7th December. We’ve got a bit more space for this part and it’ll be a chance to see all seven of the projects pitch what they’ve built in the weekend and meet everyone involved.
