Headshift and Creative Coop prizes for Social Innovation Camp winners
This weekend, we’ll be taking seven back-of-the-envelope ideas for web-based tools to change the world and showing their potential to become seven social start-ups – all in just two days. If it’s anything like the last Social Innovation Camp in April, it’ll be intense, inspiring and a lot of fun. But what happens next?
Social Innovation Camp is about bridging the gap between having an idea and actually doing something about it. So – if the team chooses to continue to work on what they’ve built at Social Innovation Camp – we’d like to give them a helping hand towards finding ways of growing and sustaining their ideas in the long run.
The weekend closes with a Show and Tell session where each project demonstrates what they’ve created and the judges will be awarding a prize to a winner and runner up who’ve shown greatest potential.
Not only do we have a bit of cash to give away, but prizes have been donated from Europe’s leading software consultancy, Headshift as well as the Creative Coop, a diverse group of highly skilled freelance professionals with a common passion for everything creative.
Headshift have kindly offered the Social Innovation Camp winner ten days of their time to help with the technical side of an idea’s development after the weekend, whilst the Creative Coop want to offer the winner and runner up their unique social start-up package to help capture the essence of the Social Innovation Camp projects, ready to tell the story behind an idea in an exciting and engaging way to whoever needs to understand it – from business advisers, funders, investors, volunenteers, or like-minded businesses. Check out all the details here.
We’ve still got a few spaces left for anyone who’d like to join us for the final Show and Tell session, 2-4pm, Sunday 7th December at the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green. You can sign up to come along here.
