Global
The Social Innovation Camp was first created and run in the UK.
Now we helping other people to run their own in other parts of the world: the founding team in London help out, but each version of the Social Innovation Camp is unique.
If you’re interested in running your own, here’s how to start:
1.) Get in touch here. We have a series of publications and templates for running your own Social Innovation Camp. Before you even think seriously about running your own, you need to involve us. So please do get in touch – it’s absolutely the first thing you need to do.
2.) Be really certain you have access to the skills and funding you need to run a Social Innovation Camp. Remember this isn’t a barcamp or an unconference. It’s a method for social innovation and it takes the form of a call for ideas and team building competition followed by a hack-weekend which takes about four months to run properly – it’s a full-time job for 1-2 people during that time. You need to be well-connected to both technical and social change worlds to run one well.
3.) Please steal nicely. Our logo and all the text on this site and in our templates are under our copyright. Please don’t use them without getting in touch first and if you’re already working with us, please do credit us – it’s only polite. Even if you use them in translation. Similarly, please link to this site and include details on your website about us and the history of Social Innovation Camp.
We’ll be linking to other Social Innovation Camps below, but if you’re after further information on one of those or you want to get involved, please contact them directly.
Check out whether there’s going to be one coming to a place near you:
