Some things to think about

What you make at Social Innovation Camp is up to you. But here’s a couple of things we reckon you might want to think about:

1.) What’s the social need?

So this is probably the first thing you want to get sorted: What do you want your project to do? Who will it benefit and how?

2.) What’s your technical solution?

This is the hacking bit: What are you going to build?

Enjoy…. just remember it should be innovative, yet designed for anyone to use – not just geeks!

3.) Take some time to think about how you’ll get the word out.

Have you got a good name for your project? How do you communicate to users what it is that your project does?

The creative wordsmiths and campaigners coming along will be great at this bit.

4.) How is your idea going to be sustainable?

Do you have a business model?

We’ve got some really talented and experienced entrepreneurs coming along who know all about this stuff.

5.) What will you do next?

Social Innovation Camp is just the beginning. Does your project have the potential to grow?

You should have a think about what your next steps might be and imagine what your idea could become….
