Christian Ahlert
Christian is co-founder and adviser to Social Innovation Camp. He runs OpenBusiness.cc, a web platform for sharing web 2.0 business models. Christian is also the organiser of MiniBar, a monthly networking meeting for web developers and entrepreneurs in partnership with the BBC and O’Reilly. Currently, his business projects include strategic management for Myrl.com, a start-up developing a social networking platform for virtual world users. Previously, he was part of the management of eCourier.co.uk and co-founder of Creative Commons in the UK.
Katherine Hui
Katherine was Development Manager at Social Innovation Camp for the past two years. Although Katherine has moved on to work with Green Thing, she still hangs around. She came to London after working for a small environmental start-up in Canada to do a Masters in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics. Katherine is a loyal supporter of Arsenal and coaches football in her spare time.

Anna Maybank
Anna is Director of Social Innovation Camp. Previously, she was a researcher for Charles Leadbeater’s book, We Think: The Power of Mass Creativity, and ran science and innovation events for the think-tank Demos.

Dan McQuillan
Dan is co-founder and adviser to Social Innovation Camp. After a PhD in experimental particle physics, he worked as a supported employment worker with people with learning disabilities and as a mental health advocate. Dan took an early interest in the potential of the internet for social change and created a pioneering and award winning multilingual website for asylum seekers and refugees. After some personal experiences of human rights abuses, Dan went on to become global web manager for Amnesty International where he led the change from online publishing to strategic e-campaigning. Spotting the potential of web 2.0 he commissioned Amnesty’s first global virals, blogging and social networking. Dan is now Digital Guru for the Make Your Mark campaign.
Paul Miller
Paul is co-founder and adviser to Social Innovation Camp. He is co-founder and CEO of the School of Everything, an internet start-up with the modest aim of revolutionising the education system by providing a bottom-up alternative to the top-down educational institutions we have today. His background is as social activist – through People & Planet and the Jubilee 2000 campaign – and a policy researcher, with the think tanks Demos and Forum for the Future.
